The key innovation behind Powerproof E is Motion Control Technology, which combines tread design, compound development and tire construction into a single system. Together, these elements are designed to balance rolling resistance, wet grip and noise performance across the entire range.

The key innovation acts as an integrated system. The Energy Flow Tread supports low rolling resistance and efficient water evacuation. The Precision Grip Compound is designed to balance wet grip, braking performance and wear resistance. The Stability Support Core helps maintain stability and even load distribution. Together, these solutions work to balance rolling resistance, grip and stability across a wide range of summer driving conditions.

Advanced materials. Added protection.
Recycled and renewable materials account for more than 40% of the materials used across the Nokian Tyres Powerproof E product line. The tire construction also incorporates recycled steel. In sizes 17 inches and above, Nokian Tyres Aramid Strong Sidewall Technology helps protect the tire against impacts and cuts encountered in everyday driving, while Nokian Tyres SilentDrive™ Technology helps reduce noise transmitted into the vehicle cabin. Together with the tire's tread design and construction, these technologies support durability and low interior noise levels.
